Mondō refers to a prosaic conversation in kotoba between two parties. There are two mondō in Okina. The first one occurs in the Interlude between Furyū Senzai, who is on the stage, and Bamboo and Pine, who are standing on the bridge. The second one occurs in the second Act, as Sanbasō and Senzai converse, standing respectively on Squares 1 and 5.
